DEGIRO beta · English

Export both required DEGIRO CSV files.

The beta import needs the full-year account statement and a portfolio snapshot at year-end. Upload both files for the same account and tax year.

BetaAccount.csvPortfolio.csv

1. Export the account statement

  1. 1

Open DEGIRO and go to Inbox, then open the account statement.

  2. 2

Set the date range to the complete calendar year: 1 January through 31 December.

  3. 3

Choose CSV export. Keep the file contents and column headers unchanged; BrokerTax refers to this file as Account.csv.

2. Export the year-end portfolio

  1. 1

Open Portfolio and choose the portfolio export.

  2. 2

Select 31 December of the same tax year as the account statement.

  3. 3

Export as CSV. Keep the contents and headers unchanged; BrokerTax refers to this file as Portfolio.csv.

Before uploading

Why both files? Account.csv provides the year’s cash movements and activity, while Portfolio.csv establishes the positions held at year-end. Neither file alone contains enough evidence for the filing review.

  • Both CSV files belong to the same DEGIRO account.
  • Account.csv covers the complete tax year.
  • Portfolio.csv is the 31 December snapshot for that year.
  • The files use UTF-8 encoding; a UTF-8 byte-order mark (BOM) is accepted.
  • Keep the exact English export column-header format. Localized or altered headers are rejected rather than guessed.
  • Activity descriptions are recognized in English, German, French and Italian. Other descriptions stop the import rather than being guessed.
